Staff is friendly, and as an English only speaker I didn't have any trouble. I would recommend the flammkuchen

The manager, Manuela (i believe was her name), is super nice and attentive - with that the staff follows and made us feel welcome. Our order was brought out in a timely manner. I ordered Spätzle which didn't come as a very big order, but were plenty enough to fill up my tummy. They were delicious! The food selection is limited and very much down to earth, but that's what their customers seem to appreciate. There are plenty of bar stool height seats and tables and some regular tables. This place seems to be owned by their own brewery, so if you love beer, you might like a unique selection of beer and also non-alcoholic beer. I'd go here every now and then with the family or more often to meet friends - if I'd live in town. Even though it's a great place, the food is a bit on the pricey side for what is being served.
